An old account of over 4 years ago was reopened by Doubleday and shipment began to come. These books weren't ordered and were returned by US Postal Service.

Doubleday then began sending invoices for the unordered books and now refuses to close the account, which I didn't ask to be reopened while sending books that I am not ordering and growing a bill ... which I will not pay.

A complete SCAM and shoddy business practices. This company should be forced out of business and forced to repay customers for the pain and suffering caused by their current shoddy business practices.

This reviewer shared experience about poor customer service and wants this business to read this review and look into the issue (if any). This person is overall dissatisfied with DoubleDay Book Club. Reviewer wants customer support to reach our to him or her ASAP for further discussion of this matter.

They attempted to reopen my old account too, and was saved only by the fact that the credit card on file was expired to prevent them from charging it.
